Quartz

Clean, bright and easy. The surface for busy families who want the marble look without the worry.

What it is

Natural quartz, made to order.

Quartz countertops are engineered. Crushed natural quartz is bound with resin and pigment, then pressed into slabs. The result is a surface that's consistent from slab to slab and doesn't need sealing.

It's not to be confused with quartzite, which is 100% natural stone. Quartz is the choice when you want a predictable look and the easiest care.

How to care for it

Almost no maintenance.

Quartz is the easiest surface we install. Just know these four things.

  1. 01
Clean with soap and waterA soft cloth and mild soap. No sealing, ever.
  2. 02
Always use a trivetThe resin that makes quartz stain-proof can scorch. Never set a hot pan straight on it.
  3. 03
Skip harsh chemicalsBleach, oven cleaner and abrasive pads can dull the surface.
  4. 04
Keep it indoorsDirect sun can fade quartz over time. For outdoor kitchens, choose granite.
