Curved scalloped marble counter in the lounge at Kira Omakase
For the trade · Hospitality

Stone people come back for.

Bars, host stands and dining counters that become the photo everyone takes. For restaurants, bars, hotels and commercial interiors.

Why it matters

In a restaurant, the bar is the brand.

Guests remember a room for one or two things. A backlit stone bar or a marble counter with a custom edge is often one of them. It’s also the surface that takes the most abuse: glasses, citrus, wine, and cleaning every night.

We help you pick stone that looks right and holds up, then build it in our commercial shop. You or your designer bring the concept. We bring the slab, the engineering and the install.

What we bring

From the concept to opening night.

01

Statement materials

Backlit Cristallo, onyx and semiprecious stone, plus marble and quartzite for bars that need to work hard.

02

Honest material advice

Marble etches with citrus and wine. Quartzite and quartz hold up better on a busy bar. We’ll tell you what each option means for your staff before you choose.

03

Custom details

Stacked edges, scallops, waterfalls, curves. If it can be drawn, we’ll tell you how to build it in stone.

04

Backlighting done right

Translucent stone needs the right thickness and lighting behind it. We work with your designer and electrician on the details.

05

Work with your team

Your GC, designer and architect get one contact on our side, from shop drawings to install.

06

Plan from your opening date

Tell us the date first. We’ll lay out slab selection, template and install around it.

Questions we get

Straight answers.

What’s the best stone for a bar top?

For heavy use, quartzite or quartz. If you want marble, plan on it etching over time and choose a honed finish so wear blends in. We’ll show you samples side by side.

Can you backlight any stone?

No. It has to be translucent, like Cristallo, onyx or some semiprecious stones. We’ll show you how a slab looks with light behind it before you commit.

Do you work from architectural drawings?

Yes. Send the drawings and we’ll quote from them, then laser-template on site before we cut.

Tell us about your space.

Send the concept, drawings or even a mood board. We’ll come back with materials and a plan.
